# Cite FigEditor

> Figure captions, methods statements and the publication statement.

FigEditor does not require attribution, but journals increasingly ask authors to disclose AI-assisted figures. Check the target journal's policy and adapt the wording below.

## Figure caption

> Figure created with FigEditor (https://figeditor.com) and reviewed by the authors.

## Methods or acknowledgements statement

> Schematic illustrations were drafted with FigEditor (https://figeditor.com), an AI-assisted scientific figure tool, and were checked and edited by the authors, who take responsibility for their accuracy.

## Publication statement

Signed-in users can download a publication use statement (PDF) for a project image from the project page. It records the project and image version; it does not register copyright, grant third-party rights or guarantee acceptance by a publisher.
